Shanghai Shenhua won the game against Tianjin Teda by 2 goals to 1. This game marks the 5th consecutive league match the team has gone unbeaten. Zoric scored the 1st goal as an own goal, and soon after Riascos scored the 2-0. Yu Dabao scored for Tianjin on the 64th minute to leave the game 2-1. With this result, Shanghai Shenhua is placed 5th with 14 points, only 3 behind the current leader, Guangzhou.

Muangthong United won the derby of Bangkok by 1 goal to 0. The team beat BEC Tero Sasana in the TPL match-day 13. The win raises the team to 5th place with 21 points, 12 behind the undisputed leader of the 2011 TPL, Buriram PEA.

Useless victory of Al Ain in the ACL

Al Ain won the final game of the group stage of the Asian Champions League, against Nagoya Grampus from Japan. The home team won by 3 goals to 1, with goals by Hamad Al Marri and Elias, who scored twice. This result leaves them 3rd of group F, and thus eliminated from the competition.

Al Ain says goodbye to the Asian Champions League

Al Ain is mathematically eliminated from the ACL with one game still missing, after they lost by 3 goals to 0 at FC Seoul's stadium. The home side went ahead on the scoreboard on the 17th minute with a goal from Yo-Han Ko. Damjanovic scored the 2nd and 3rd in the 40th and 73th minute to close a game that closes all possibilities of Al Ain to move to the next round.




Shanghai Shenhua says goodbye to the ACL

Shanghai Shenhua lost another game in the Asian Champions League, a result that mathematically leaves them out of the next round. The Japanese team, Kashima Antlers, won by 2 goals to 0 with 2 goals by Koroki, in the 32th and 81th minute.
